This neighborhood coffee shop is a delight. It's tastefully decorated, has excellent coffee, albeit on the pricier side, and the treats were delicious as well. We tried 2 different cookies and the baklava and they were all very tasty. We were happy to pay a little more for the quality, service, and atmosphere. It's calm and cozy inside and my husband and I were able to hold a conversation without ever having to raise our voice. The other customers were respectful as well. The vibe of the place is really nice. Most coffee shops close early, but Shortwave is open for afternoon coffee, which is when we like to have ours. We will definitely be back!

Love the space and vibe. Low key and relaxing. Generally pretty quiet so it's great to have a nice conversation.

Cute little coffee shop! My matcha latte was so smooth. I had it with homemade vanilla. I love when places use homemade syrups. We stayed and worked on our laptops for awhile and felt welcome the whole time. Free WiFi, enough tables and outlets for working on things, games people can play, street parking, and friendly service. It’s also right across from Patina so you can do some shopping afterwards :)

This coffee house is a gem located in a Minneapolis neighborhood. Tastefully decorated, with plenty of seating and quiet enough for conversation. A good place to sit and relax, read a book, check your emails or talk to your significant other. Muran, the owner and barista, is personable and skilled. Quite a conversationalist and is willing to explain the sourcing of his coffee beans and how he became a barista. The breve cappuccino was excellent, silky smooth and the coffee was not bitter, and was served in a proper ceramic cup. There is a small selection of pastries and other food offerings. Definitely worth the trip.

Just had coffee and an iced hibiscus tea - my tea was good and my husband enjoyed the coffee - they had some nice pastries at the counter that looked delicious - plenty of room to sit

Stopped by on a whim since it was along the Bryant Ave bike path. Great pour overs (coming from a coffee snob) and the chocolate croissant was good as well. I was delightfully surprised!

After patiently waiting months for them to open, we finally got to check out the space and enjoy a cardamom oat milk latte and macchiato! The staff was friendly and the shop itself was very inviting with simple but cool art and decor. Definitely recommend it.
